The Joy Box Project Inc. was created by friends Brigitte Brummell and Allana Price, founders of Latenight Pottery. What began as a love of handmade ceramics and community connection has grown into a heartfelt mission — to bring joy, creativity, and comfort to children spending time in hospital.

Each Joy Box contains a handmade ceramic painting kit, complete with 4 ornaments, paints, brushes, a calico bag, and a simple how-to guide — offering a bright, hands-on moment of calm and creativity when it’s needed most.

Our first goal is to reach children’s wards across the Hunter New England Health District this Christmas, delivering Joy Boxes to kids spending Christmas Day in hospital. From there, we’ll continue to grow — expanding across NSW and beyond.
